Dr. David Hernandez-Rodriguez, a board-certified internist with 30 years of experience, is a leader in senior care and patient-centered medicine. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he graduated with honors from the University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in 1997 and completed his residency at University Hospital Ramon Ruiz in Puerto Rico. Early in his career, he worked with institutions like Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital and AltaMed in Los Angeles, where he gained expertise in HIV/AIDS care and elderly care through the PACE program. In 2012, he transitioned into private practice, initially established as "Three Angels Medical Clinics."

 

​His dedication to healthcare has earned him multiple accolades, including the HASB Stellar Award (2017), the IEHLC Health Champion Award (2018), and the Moreno Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Influential Award for Humanitarian Service (2019). He was also recognized as a top internist in 2013 and again in 2023, and most recently, he received the Key to the City of Perris in 2024.

​As President & Medical Director of Hernandez Health, he leads high-quality care for underserved communities in Southern CA. He's affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Loma Linda University Medical Center, he remains involved in the community by supporting nonprofits that promote education and inspire the next generation of Latino physicians.
