Dr. David Hernandez-Rodriguez is a board-certified internist with 20+ years of experience and a recognized leader in senior care and patient-centered medicine. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, he graduated with honors from the University of Guadalajara School of Medicine in 1997 and completed his residency at University Hospital Ramon Ruiz in Puerto Rico. He began his career as a hospitalist at Adventist Health White Memorial Hospital and AltaMed in Los Angeles, gaining expertise in HIV/AIDS management and geriatric care. His work with the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) deepened his passion for senior care.

In 2006, his wife, Dr. Ruth Chambi-Hernandez, founded Three Angels Medical Clinic, named in honor of their three children and Christian values. Dr. Hernandez-Rodriguez assumed leadership in 2010, guiding its evolution into Hernandez Health. His contributions have earned him the IEHLC Health Champion Award (2018), the Moreno Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Humanitarian Award (2019), recognition as a Top Internist (2013, 2023), and the Key to the City of Perris (2024).

As President & Medical Director of Hernandez Health, he leads high-quality care for underserved communities in Southern CA. He is affiliated with multiple hospitals, including Loma Linda University Medical Center, and actively supports nonprofits that promote education and inspire the next generation of Latino physicians.
